THE first Miss Universe Ireland pageant held last night brought 27 women together to compete for the coveted title at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin.All the hopefuls sought the chance to represent Ireland at the Miss Universe competition, which is being held in Vietnam next month.
The event was broadcast live on TV3 and hosted by Alan Hughes and Caprice. The show featured Rosanna Davison and Synan O'Mahony amongst its seven judges.
First runner up was Tipperary born Lorraine Turner a stylist and part-time model with the Celia Holman-Lee Agency. Lorraine’s ambition is to have her own chain of boutiques.
