Today my sister queen, Brittany Dronen, and I were able to participate in the Merit Care "living with an ICD" conference. We were there to promote Go Red for Women. While we were there we were able to register 32 women for the movement and handout more than 50 heart check up cards. We both though that given the topic of the conference most women would know their numbers and their risks factors but surprisingly that was not the case. Many knew their spouses risks factors and numbers but hadn't taken the time to find out their own.
