MISS CUBA, MARLYN SANCHEZ WINS INTERNATIONAL TITLE
PHILIPSBURG - The PJD2 Caribbean Queen Show was another huge success Thursday night in the Festival Village. The show piece event was well supported by the fans who left satisfied that they had seen a good show.
Miss Cuba Marlyn Sanchez, was the winner of the 2008 PJD2 Caribbean Pageant. A total of 28 ladies took part in the Pageant. PJD2 radio took a 4 year hyenas from organizing the pageant however it was brought back to the stage for the stations 35th anniversary, which its celebrating this year.
PJD2 Radio General Manager, Donald Hughes stated Thursday that the station will return next year with the Pageant but this time with a wider Caribbean appeal. There is a plan in the making to have the Pageant broadcast live through out the Caribbean.
