Miss New Jersey Amy Polumbo finally just gave up this week and went on NBC toting her pictures that had her in such hot water. They were as advertised, not pretty, but no skin and no girl on girl photos as so many had predicted and hoped for. Still, on a slow news week in July, Miss new Jersey captivated the world of pop culture and she has raised the interest in the Miss America contest.

She will remain Miss New Jersey as some high and mighty panel decided that a little breast nibbling and spread eagle shots in some tight jeans were not skanky enough to get her the boot. On would hope, the contest should be on its knees thanking her.

After the announcement the adorable Miss New Jersey said, "I'm very happy about this decision, and I look forward to resuming my agenda as Miss New Jersey," she said as she blew kisses to audience members after the announcement. "It was absolutely relieving. I feel like I've been crowned again."
