APPLETON — The ninth annual Miss Fox River Valley pageant will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Thompson Community Center, 820 W. College Ave.
Miss Fox River Valley 2006, Megan Kathleen Lyne, 21, of Kenosha, who was third runner-up to Miss Wisconsin last summer, will crown her successor.
The winner of the statewide open pageant, featuring contestants from around Wisconsin, will earn a scholarship and advance to the 2007 Miss Wisconsin pageant on June 30 in Oshkosh."
