The Baker Twins’ appearance at the En’owkin Centre last week brought $1,502.50 from the community for their Miss Universe fundraising effort. Shannon Baker, a First Nations model and actress living in Vancouver, is looking to enter the Miss Universe Canada pageant and needs to raise over $20,000 to make this possible. Their visit to the En’owkin Centre was part of a “girl time” lecture educating young women about self-image and offering support from the twins.
