N.Y pageant has new home in Long Island

Miss New York State competition moved from Watertown, where it has been for almost 3 decades

When Miss New York State is crowned next summer, she will be walking on a new stage for the first time in 27 years.

After more than two decades in Watertown, N.Y., the Miss New York State Scholarship Pageant is moving to Huntington, L.I., pageant representatives confirmed.
