• Miss Nevada Katie Rees is not getting her tiara back, pageant officials said Friday.
"The Miss Universe Organization has thoroughly considered the request of Ms. Katie Rees to be reinstated as Miss Nevada USA 2007," Paula M. Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, said in a statement. "In light of the serious nature of the circumstances, there is no recourse but to stand by our decision."
"Serious nature"? Miss Nevada kissed a woman, flashed a breast and exposed her thong. Her offense was acting like a sorority girl on Spring Break. The reinstated Miss USA, Tara Conner, was caught drinking while a minor.
One is a misjudgment. The other is a misdemeanor.
Hmmm... Donald Trump should just pardon them both and team up with Joe Francis for "Miss USA Contestants Gone Wild."
