Popular Filipino-Canadian beauty, Riza Santos was voted Miss Photogenic at the Miss Earth competition in the world’s third largest beauty pageant held recently in the Philippines. The 20-year-old pre-med student from the University of Calgary was born and raised in Canada.
Her father is a native of Malolos, Bulacan, while her mother hails from Manila. She works as a news reporter for the Canadian Armed Forces Army Reserve.
Santos competed against 90 other beauties to win the title that promises to promote environmental causes across the world. She was a heavy favourite at the onset of the contest charming the media in her mother tongue.
