BARBADOS HAS
A proposal sent to the Barbados Tourism Authority (BTA) by the Los Angeles-based Miss Universe organisation a few days ago and obtained yesterday by the DAILY NATION, stated that the show, owned by billionaire Donald Trump, was "pleased to announce that Barbados is being considered to host the (three-week) pageant" that would include "a series of events that will promote tourism and showcase Barbados before a worldwide audience".
