MISS IDAHO REQUESTS NO PICTURE WITH GOVERNOR RISCH

Tuesday Oct 31, 2006

The newly crowned Miss Idaho U.S.A., Amanda Rammell, is deciding not to take part in a Miss Idaho tradition.

Rammell tells NBC Newschannel Six she won't be photographed with Idaho Governor Jim Risch.

She says she respects the office of governor, but has little respect for the man serving as Idaho governor.

Amanda Rammell has questioned Governor Jim Risch's policy on domestic elk that escaped her father's ranch earlier this year.

She says Governor Risch violated her father's property rights when he ordered the escaped elk killed by private hunters.
