PHILADELPHIA, PA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 16, 2006 -- Ashley Harder, an on-air host for Channel 57 since December 2005, was crowned Miss New Jersey USA 2007 last night in Parsippany, New Jersey. Harder was chosen from a field of 105 contestants. This was the first time Harder had competed in any pageant. She will compete for the title of Miss USA this spring as one of 50 young women from around the country.
Harder is a member of The CW Philly 57 Crew along with Justin Dugan and Sean Scott. As a member of the Crew, Harder serves as an on-air host and ambassador of the station in the community. She will continue in that role while serving as Miss New Jersey USA.
Before getting her start in television at Channel 57, Harder modeled for Versace, Pepsi and various bridal magazines. She is a graduate of Camden Catholic High School. She was raised and currently resides in Marlton, New Jersey.
