Burlington woman wins another pageant title

RICHLAND CENTER - Caitlin Morrall of Burlington was crowned Miss Wisconsin-USA 2007 at the state pageant held earlier this month in Richland Center.

Morrall, 23, is a college senior majoring in elementary/middle education with a minor in social studies. She was crowned Miss Burlington Area ChocolateFest last year. She will represent the state in the 2007 Miss USA Pageant on NBC.

In the coming year, Morrall will devote her time to promoting awareness of issues related to breast and ovarian cancer.

Earlier this year, Morrall was first runner-up in the Miss Wisconsin pageant. She previously held the title of Miss Milwaukee in 2003 and Miss Racine in 2002 in competition for the Miss Wisconsin title. She also previously held the title of Miss Southern

Wisconsin.

In the Miss Wisconsin-USA division, Sherri Haas of Thorp was first runner-up; Alexandra Kealy of Merton was second runner-up and Hayley Crain of Whitefish Bay was fourth runner-up. Alisa Prochaska of Racine placed in the top 10.

Miss Wisconsin Teen USA is Shauna Sabir of Milwaukee. She is a 16-year-old high school senior enrolled in her school's fine arts program. A local teenager did well in the Miss Wisconsin Teen USA teen competition; Burlington's Rachel Kulinski was in the top 10.
