Resident to Compete in Pageant

SOUTHBURY - Megan Tessitore, daughter of Paul and Kacey Tessitore of Southbury, has been selected to compete in the Miss Connecticut USA Pageant 2007, which will take place November 10 to 12 in Danbury.

The title of Miss Connecticut USA will be awarded to one special contestant who is articulate, confident, poised and graceful. She will be a role model for all, serve the community, and will make public appearances.

Winners of the state title will then have the opportunity to compete in the Miss USA Pageant, a nationally televised event.

As a teen, Ms. Tessitore held the title of Miss Connecticut Beauty and was awarded the Miss Congeniality Award. In 2004, she was selected as one of Mark Make-up's Goal Models and was asked to appear in their national campaign where she was in such magazines as Glamour, Allure and Cosmopolitan.
